About the Role

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern who is eager to learn, experiment, and build hands-on experience across digital marketing and content creation.

This role will have a strong focus on social media, including content creation, scripting, video shooting, appearing in front of the camera, and managing social media accounts for brands. The ideal candidate should be comfortable being on camera, shooting videos, and contributing creative content ideas.

As this is an internship, you do not need to know everything already. We will provide guidance and training across different areas of digital marketing. We are looking for someone who is creative, proactive, willing to learn, and excited to experiment with new content ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Content Creation:

● Assist in planning, creating, and managing content for social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.

● Brainstorm content ideas based on trends, audience interests, and brand requirements.

● Create and maintain social media content calendars.

● Write scripts for reels, short-form videos, social media content, and other marketing creatives.

● Act in and shoot videos when required for social media content.

● Assist with basic video creation and coordinate with designers and editors.

● Research social media trends, trending formats, content ideas, and competitors.

● Help manage social media accounts for different brands.

● Schedule, publish, and monitor social media content.

● Assist in analysing content performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Digital Marketing:

● Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns.

● Support SEO activities, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, content briefs, and basic technical and off-page SEO.

● Assist with basic paid advertising activities on platforms such as Meta and Google.

● Help with email marketing, basic automation, and audience segmentation.

● Coordinate with design and content teams for marketing creatives.

● Track campaign and content performance and assist in preparing reports.

● Research digital marketing trends, competitors, and new opportunities.

Skills Required:

● Good communication and writing skills, with a strong interest in social media and content creation.

● Comfortable with basic scriptwriting, being on camera, and shooting videos.

● Familiarity with social media platforms and basic knowledge of Canva or similar tools.

● Creative, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks while working with different teams.

● Willingness to learn, take initiative, and experiment with new ideas.
